Every organization that has ever existed has had some kind of structure that kept their members together. Whether it be a common direction or a common goal and whether through natural or artificial means, successful groups tended to maintain an element of togetherness.

And so I too, in attempting to lay the groundwork for this organization, Path Forger, find myself in search for those essential threads that shall intertwine and bond comers to a common purpose.

It would be true to state that I have a fragmented but sure vision…

Still, it would be too great an exercise in ego, and with no tenable purpose, for my beliefs to become the crux of this website. Why? It is because I am firmly of the belief that such a decision would limit the scope of it and would serve to undermine a principle that I hold dear. The principle value of pluralistic development - the idea that differing views can dialectically interact with each other in a mutual struggle for survival… both becoming stronger from the exercise. One may eventually sink but even the losing idea may yet return to challenge the winner again and so the synergetic spiral continues.

This is what I’d like to see Path Forger become - a conduit for the mutual dialectic opposition and development of ideas in the hope of extracting ideas far superior to any developed while huddled within a shell of pride. Such would be an evolutionary process and this is why I seek to state principles that regulate rather than constrict development.
