Readers would be forgiven for hastily concluding this to be the case but the truth is that there is a rational basis to the decision. This is suitably the introductory post to the category named after… ‘ahem’ …myself, and also happens to be the last contribution to the weblog for 2007.

All contributions made so far have been by myself, and this is likely to remain so for a while yet. While this has been so it is also true that I have not always felt at liberty to state my views in the bluntest of fashions, feeling it to be necessary to elicit meaning from sometimes long-winding musings. I’ve also felt less than at ease to speak about certain subjects because, in spite of how things may appear at present, it is not (and has not been) my intention for the Path Forger site to be seen to begin and end with James Cauchi.

It is not so. It is one of the principle reasons that I included a forum for this website, to facilitate the establishment of contact with other individuals with bright ideas, promising visions and ambitions (and by no means restricted to Malta). I am not here merely to preach.

The James Cauchi section will allow me to state and expand upon my views on specific issues and perhaps also outline a personal ideology based upon those views. Such views would not jeopardize the standpoint of the website and would merely delineate that which I, as an individual, believe in.

Also, since I have decided to contest the coming local elections, it makes sense for me to place emphasis that such a decision does not mean that my views are representative of those of Path Forger. The most representative at this moment perhaps but not actually limiting the scope of the website.

Feel free to sign up for forum participation by the way. I ‘do’ check it on a regular enough basis. ^_^
