Well the toll is confirmed. Just two posts lost (the ones on rights of status and choice ’shrugs’) - an opportunity to refine them further on the re-write. ^_~ I would like to confirm with readers that this event has not killed off my drive to continue, though it has done a number on my motivation to continue with the contributions in this period of uncertainty. Don’t worry though. I shall be playing catch-up once I have things back under control. This is an opportunity. The hosting has been paid for and the move is imminent. I just worry about the success or otherwise to be had once this happens… Still, its not over yet by a long shot.

Is it not a curious thing? A diploma is said to last for a life-time and yet one has to obtain it within a fixed deadline. This is the situation that persists not only with most courses offered at the University of Malta but many other universities around the world. It is a fact that almost every prospective student must contemplate prior to stepping up to the plate and many rise or fall based upon this factor alone.

No matter who you are and no matter what your background in life may have been, it is very likely - almost certain in fact - that you have had a brush with the education system. Depending upon your background and your personal predispositions you may also have experienced some of a wide range of frictional issues and events where you may have felt a desire to challenge the education system. Yet you knew that that was how the system worked and so the problem was naturally with yourself… or was it?
