Well the results are in. James Cauchi has earned a whooping 17 votes on the 9th district and a full 9 votes on the 10th district. Well… OK so I’m a little disappointed and had been hoping that a good few dozen persons or, dare I had hoped, a hundred-odd individuals would have seen and understood that I was the genuine article. ^_^; As it stands it appears that many either did not or felt that others out there were more suitable. That is their choice at the end of the day and I do of course thank all those individuals who did believe in myself. There is of course more to be said.

…but I am actually working behind the scenes. ^_~ I realize that I am a good half-dozen contributions backwards on the web log. I can say that this is partially due to not wishing to be the harbringer of spoilers for the interview of yours truly on sandrovella.org, but also because it is ‘not’ easy being an independent candidate. Well… am I worried?
Well… for as far as the interview is concerned - only a tad bit… not only am I not a very spontaneous person, but it is appropriate that I honour the tradition for Sandro Vella’s website to inclusions primarily in the Maltese language.

As the Maltese general elections approach and the electoral campaigns intensify so too does my awareness of the importance of these coming elections become more acute. Indeed up to several months ago I hadn’t been banking on participating in these elections, believing that the natural thing to do would be to launch myself ‘after’ the elections… but I have since recognised that to abstain from entry with the knowledge that my perspective has granted me would be an act of irresponsibility on my part.
