The background of this mode is that a laboratory experiment has gone wrong and produced a highly contagious disease that turns super animals into super chicken zombies. Each ‘match’ involves an outbreak of the cluckles virus.

This mode features a random chance of starting a match as an infected SuperAnimal – and the game compensates such infected players with a red zombie with higher health and a higher infection chance.

Unlike Royale or S.A.W. versus Rebellion, in the Bwoking Dead the match does not begin with an eagle.

Instead it begins with an eerie siren and a fade from black as all participants wake up and get up from off the ground in groups scattered across the map.

The first moments are tense as ten percent of the survivors are pre-infected and could be about to turn zombie at any moment. You will need a weapon. Fast.

Unless you happen to be unlucky enough to be infected through no fault of your own. In this case you will notice the screen has taken on a tint of green, along with a message stating that you are infected, and a countdown timer indicating when you shall turn.

If you are unlucky enough to get auto-clucked, the win conditions of the match are immediately different for you. Your task is not to survive, as the chance to survive has been robbed from you by cruel chance.

Instead, your immediate task is to bring down as many survivors as you can – and trying to get a couple of sneak kills the moment that you turn can be crucial for this as the difficulty level of the task diminishes with more cluckers by your side.
