Once you turn, you are a zombie chicken – a more deadly red one, but a zombie chicken nonetheless. You are unable to pick up or use guns or equipment but you can melee and do everything else, like ride zip lines for some reason.

There is one good thing that being a zombified chicken can serve to teach you in a way that no other mode can, and that is how to melee fight.

Actually, there are two more tools available to zombie chickens. One very important one is that zombies are able to sense survivor-related sounds from a long ways away and are able to visualize the direction of such sound. This provides important clues as to where the next target might be, and this can help with a hunt.

The second tool is available to successful zombie chickens. If one deals enough damage, and/ or kills enough living creatures and/ or eats enough consumables, then one’s zombie chicken gains the ability to explode when killed – which can be effective if used right. You get to respawn many times while survivors only need to die or be infected once.

That’s enough about zombie chickens. ‘Next’ we’ll go over the survivor experience.
