A more recent main sub-section of the menu screen is the Photo Booth.
It is intended for the production of fan-created promotional content for the game, and has a fair bit of customization possibilities included.
In the image below I’ve taken the liberty to substitute the bright green of the default background for a darker green during post-edit. Easier on the eyes.

- 1 – User Interface elements may be hidden – for easier and better screenshots.
- 2 – The ‘Scenes’ tab allows players to choose a background backdrop.
- 3 – When a tab is selected any options will show beneath the tab.
- 4 – The ‘Characters’ tab. This panel on the left and allows more to be added to a scene – while the ‘Edit Animal’ panel is on the right and edits the active SuperAnimal.
- 5 – The ‘Record/ Save’ tab provides in-game functionality to download images and short videos.
Record/Save
- i – Recording in gif or mp4 format.
- ii – Determines the number of loops and length.
- iii – Options to take a snapshot of the current screen, and opening the File Explorer location such captures are stored.
- iv – Options to disable the background, shift the Super Animal Royale logo (…) and adjust the crop of the image capture.
Characters > Edit Animal
- a – This panel on the right shows up while the Characters tab is active.
- b – Rotate between active SuperAnimal for editing.
- c – Switch between personal and friends’ SuperAnimals.
- d – Switch the direction and change the loadout of the SuperAnimal.
- e – Advanced Options – A few sliders and checkboxes as below.
- f – Switching between action and emotes/pose animations.
- g – A list of action animations.
- h – Pause any on-going animations on-screen.

Even in its current format the Photo Booth allows for a lot of customization, and it is a great resource for players to delve into populating artistic little scenes without needing to be artistically inclined.
This concludes the overview of the main menu and its sub-menus. ‘Next’ we’ll be taking a look at the rules of conduct. Most games have them.
