When a player is playing a royale game mode that is not Solo, there is an extra step between a SuperAnimal dropping to zero health and that SuperAnimal dying.
Such SuperAnimals are knocked down to their paws and knees.
Once in this state their health bar is filled again and this begins to deplete over time as the SuperAnimal slowly dies.
While in this state a SuperAnimal can do very little. They can crawl around at a slow pace. They can also interact with but not use their inventory.
Such SuperAnimals also take half the normal damage while in this state, and so finishing them off takes around twice as much as to knock them down.
Downed allied SuperAnimals may be revived by moving next to them and pressing the same key that one uses to jump out of the Eagle.
It takes five seconds to complete the action, and once back the SuperAnimal is at low health but able to act normally and is no longer in imminent danger of dying.
Getting knocked down multiple times increases the rate at which that SuperAnimal’s downed health depletes. Beware.
‘Next’ we’ll be visiting Mystery Mode – which is not typically in circulation.
