Slugger-class weapons

That which defines a slugger:

  • It is fairly light to carry – and so does little to impede movement.
  • It has fewer bullets in the chamber or clip.
  • It makes use of heavy bullet ammunition.
  • While it is single action, It packs a moderate-to-hefty amount of damage per shot
  • Bullets are fairly good at piercing armour, stripping away an extra tick per shot.
  • It is accurate and maintains damage over a longer range.

Let’s look at a more hefty, but still light handgun, the six-shooting magnum. This weapon is found in the lower rarities but packs a punch and can pierce an extra tick of armour per shot as compared to most other weapons. Its projectiles travel faster and this further contributes to its accuracy.

A slightly more hefty and rare variant of the magnum is the eight-shooting deagle. It just does the magnum’s job even better, with two more bullets in the chamber.
