Being a different mode, further mechanics set S.A.W. vs Rebellion apart from Royale.

Reinforcement Points

At the beginning of a SvR match, both sides are assigned one thousand reinforcement points. The ultimate objective of the game mode is to deplete the enemy faction’s reinforcement points before one’s own are depleted.

Reinforcement points are generally reduced when players on either team are killed and need to be replaced as reinforcements.

Capture/ Control Points

How much each replacement ends up costing varies depending on the factions’ control over three control points.

Capture points start out as white to indicate an uncaptured state. They are set to green when one’s allied faction controls them, and are set to red when the enemy faction controls them.

To capture a point, a player needs to move towards the center of the point where a flag pole stands. One can use the same button that one uses to jump out of the eagle to interact with a flag that needs interacting with, and doing so begins the process of changing control over to one’s team – but a SuperAnimal will be vulnerable for a few seconds while hoisting that flag.

Raising one’s own flag brings about control for one’s team, and a circular area around the flag will be highlighted in green.

Allied SuperAnimals within this circle benefit from a healing effect similar to a lit campfire. Flipped control points may also drop a welcome stash of health juice, super tapes and ammunition top-ups.

Gameplay for the mode mostly revolves around control over the three points on the map. Any team holding all three flags drastically increases the cost of each reinforcement, and that is mostly all that there is to be said of it.

‘Next’ we’ll be taking a closer look at flags.
